Pusharata Baking Class - for TWO!
If you’ve lived on the MS Gulf Coast for any amount of time, then you know this time of year is the time for the Pusharatas!
Pusharatas are traditional a Yugoslavian pastry that is similar to a small fried donut that's filled with fruit and covered with a powdered-sugar glaze.
Homemade Pakistani Cooking with Nosheen
You are in for a treat with Nosheen Babar in the kitchen doing a demonstration of some of her most popular recipes. During this class, you will learn to make chicken pulao, raita and kachumber salad. Appetizers (aloo pakora with tamarind chutney) will be provided throughout the class. You will leave with all the recipes AND a spice packet to take home to your own kitchen! As a final added bonus, the first two signups will have the chance to be Nosheen’s sous chef (hands-on assistant).

Counting Your Macros with Meal Prep
Our Mission is in Motion once again, and we are so excited to be back at Prep by KUG in Ocean Springs!

Kids Holiday Mini Camp - Santa’s Workshop of Sweet Treats
The kids are out of school, and we KNOW you parents need time to finish prepping for Christmas - we get it! Bring your littles to us for a fun-filled morning of playing Santa’s Workshop and making all the festive sweet treats! There will be plenty sweets to bring home and share with family and friends, as well as cookies for Santa and reindeer chow for spreading out on Christmas Eve. Cake Decorating: Ombre Candy Corn Cake
Ombré cakes have been on trend for numerous years now. From ocean themed cakes, to princess pink cakes, the layers of colors are always stunning. Ombré, meaning 'shaded' in French, is the gradual blending of one color into another. Usually, the shading moves from light (top) to dark (bottom). In this hands-on cake decorating class, we will make an ombré candy corn cake, shading from white, to orange to yellow. Each guest will receive a 3 layer, 6" buttercream yellow cake to decorate and bring home. *This class includes wine.

VIRTUAL Make your Own Key Lime Pie - For All Ages!
One of the most notable American desserts is the Key Lime Pie. This pie is said to have originated in Key West, Florida, in the late 19th century. With fresh milk being widely unavailable due to lack of refrigeration, the pie uses minimal ingredients, including sweetened condensed milk which comes in a can. In this virtual class we will make the graham crust, make the key lime custard, and bake the pie.

Jr. Chef Camp: Cooking & Baking Basics July 26th - July 30th
Note: This camp runs from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm.
The end of summer is here, and school is about to begin. We want our littles to be ready to enter the new school year confident and with a new skill in hand to share with their friends and family. Chef Stephanie and Chef Michael Paoletti are inviting kids entering Kindergarten up to those who just finished Second Grade (5 years to 8 years old) for a full week of culinary camp. As Junior Chefs we will learn how to make some classic family favorites, as well as an accompanying sweet item! Kids will come home at the end of the week with recipes to keep, a homemade lunch to share with loved ones, and basic kitchen knowledge.

Tacos and Ceviche
Tacos are a classic crowd pleaser, but imagine if you made your own corn tortilla shells and other accoutrements for them. Not only will you learn to make your own tortillas and learn about unique ways to flavor the shells, but Chef Michael is also ready to teach how to make your own ceviche utilizing the most local and fresh seafood. After learning the basics of how a ceviche is made, you will choose your own toppings and flavor profiles to make your very own ceviche mix that you won't want to share!

KIDS COOKING: Fudge Brownies
We took a vote and the kids have spoken! This month we are featuring a sweets class for kids ages 7-14, all about brownies. In this hands-on class, the kids will group up into teams and make two types of brownies- fudge brownies and blondies. Each child will be able to bring their brownies home to share with their loved ones, which pair especially well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! **There will be no nuts in the brownies.

Did you know Americans consume more than 300 million sandwiches a day?! Sandwiches are a staple in every household around the country because of its portability and ability to be different each and every time. Your Jr. Chefs ages 7-14 will learn about the history of the most popular American sandwiches, as well as creating the condiments for each sandwich such as homemade mustard, mayonnaise, and olive salad.

Cake Decorating: Fault Cakes
Fault Line Cakes are one of the newest trends in the cake world, and have gone viral on social media. These cakes can be a bit of a mess to put together, but the final results are jaw-dropping! From fillings such as sprinkles, fruit, flowers, chocolate, or anything in between, once you learn the basics of this cake design, the results are endless.
Everyone will receive a 3 layer yellow cake with Italian buttercream icing.

Jr. Chef Camp: Cookies & Confections June 14th - June 18th
Note: This camp runs from Monday to Friday, from 1pm to 4pm.
Throughout the duration of the week, the Jr. Chefs aged 7-14 will learn the basic methods of baking and confections including types of cookies, candies, and chocolate confections. The classics will be learned such as chocolate chip cookies and turtles. The Jr. Chefs will learn how to caramelize sugar and how to make a proper chocolate ganache.

Cake Decorating: Hydrangea Cake - In Pascagoula!
One of the newest trends in cake decorating is the hydrangea cake. The cake is soft, feminine, and a perfect centerpiece for a southern tablescape. Join Chef Stephanie Paoletti of Sweet Enchantments as she teaches the techniques to ice a buttercream cake and decorate it with various piping tips and colorful icing to create a beautiful hydrangea cake. The cake will be 3 layers of yellow cake with a vanilla Italian buttercream.

KIDS COOKING: Spaghetti Night - In Pascagoula!
Nothing says nostalgia like a good bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. But, have you enjoyed a bowl of homemade spaghetti with homemade red sauce, AND homemade meatballs?! I doubt it! Build Your Own Ahi Poke Bowl
Our Mission is in Motion once again!! This time we will be at Prep By KUG in Ocean Springs!
We are thrilled to have Prep By KUG owner, Kristin Grizzard, welcome us to her shop for a clean eating demonstration and introduction to paleo compliant meals (free from dairy, grains, and soy). This is a hands-on class where guests will make their own Poke (pronounced po-kay; Hawaiian word for slice or cut) bowl, one of the main dishes of traditional native Hawaiian cuisine. All the ingredients will be locally sourced, with ahi (pronounced ah-hee; Hawaiian word for yellowtail tuna) supplied by South Coast Seafood Company in Ocean Springs.

Moon pies are not only delicious, but they are also a favorite to throw into the crowds from a parade float during Mardi Gras season. Though popular during Mardi Gras, these treats originated in Chattanooga, Tennessee before venturing down south. This class will talk a bit about the history of moon pies while giving you the step-by-step process to making your own marshmallow fluff, graham cookie, and chocolate glaze.
