Note: This camp runs from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm.
This week-long camp is a hands-on learning experience of the foundations in STEM concepts focusing on Motion, Structure, Substance, and Energy. Kids will: learn about basic principles driving STEM learning, do simple experiments, build models, work together on basic communication and teamwork skills, do team-building exercises, and learn to communicate what they have discovered. This will allow kids to build their teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills all while having FUN!!
Activities include:
straw towers; marshmallow buildings; density tower; paper mache baking soda volcano; Oobleck; paper airplane building; Index card bridge; cup/string telephone; balloon races- on string with wings, designing wings; lava lamp; rubber band propeller plane
